On Monday, 4 October 2021, Mr Mijo Krešić, Deputy Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation. Mr Krešić was accompanied by Major General Ivica Jerkić, Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff AF BA, Mr Danijel Nikolić, adviser to Deputy Minister and Col Mato Đukić, Military Attaché of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Croatia.
After a presentation on RACVIAC history, mission and accomplishments of the Centre Director MG (Ret.) Jeronim Bazo provided the delegation with further explanations related to RACVIAC Members and the nature, aim and outcomes of RACVIAC Programme of activities. He emphasized that apart from promoting dialogue and cooperation between the SEE countries networking has always been a very important aspect of RACVIAC overall aims in order to exchange information and harmonize practices and procedures.
MG (ret.) Bazo also took the opportunity to underline the strong relationship and considerable cooperation that has developed between RACVIAC Member Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Organization since RACVIAC inception in 2000.
Both Mr Krešić and MG Jerkić expressed readiness that RACVIAC and Bosnia and Herzegovina intensify mutual cooperation in the future.
