On October 27 and 28, 2021 the Conference “Challenges in the protection of industry and infrastructure”, organized by magazine Zaštita, was held at the “Westin Hotel” in Zagreb. During the Conference experts from the Republic of Croatia and abroad spoke about the key security challenges they face in the industry and the protection of critical infrastructure.
As a representative of RACVIAC – Center for Security Cooperation, Ms Zrinka Smeh Martinović, Activity Manager in SSG Pillar, also participated in the Conference, presenting the activities of RACVIAC to date in the protection of critical infrastructure. At the very beginning of her presentation she briefly introduced the participants to the history of RACVIAC, its mission, areas of interest and the cooperation we have with international institutions. The main part of the presentation was related to the activities carried out by RACVIAC in cooperation with its partners, closely connected to such areas as Cyber Security (2007), Civil – Military Relations: Private (Military) Security Companies in Critical Infrastructure Protection (2017) and Energy Security (2015). RACVIAC Programme for 2022 also includes an activity aimed at strengthening public-private partnerships and strengthening resilience which we plan to implement with our partners from the private sector, and which, we hope, will host today’s participants as well.
