On September 20 and 21, 2023, during the Vienna Document 2011 Compliance and Verification Course, Hungarian Defence Forces organized a visit to the HDF 101st Aviation Wing (Kecskemét) and to the HDF 1st Armoured Brigade (Tata) according to the Course Agenda. The practical part provided an excellent opportunity for the participants to observe the Major Weapon and Equipment Systems and to get an insight into the airbase and military facilities/units, in accordance with the Vienna Document 2011 (VD-11). The highlights of the visits were the impressive dynamic demonstrations.

Thanks to the preparedness and professional approach of the Hungarian military personnel, it was an excellent representation of the spirit of the document, openness and transparency.

At the end of the visit, certificates were awarded by Cpt Levente Tóth, Activity Manager in RACVIAC CSE Pillar.

RACVIAC is thankful to Hungary for coorganizing and hosting this event. Hopefully, this cooperation will continue or develop even further.
