The “Women and Security – Gender Awareness Course” drew to an end

The “Women and Security – Gender Awareness Course” drew to an end today. It was carried out from 13 to 15 June 2023 in Kumanovo, Republic of North Macedonia with the purpose of increasing the awareness of SEEBRIG HQ Personnel about the gender perspective and the importance of its integration into Peace Support Operations.

Hopefully, SEEBRIG HQ staff broadened its knowledge regarding the gender perspective and will implement it into mission planning and execution at all levels.

The Course was closed by SEEBRIG Chief of Staff COL Zlatko Gjorgjiovski, who thanked RACVIAC for the execution of the activity with such an important topic for the personnel possibly involved in conflict prevention and other peace support operations.

COL Antoniela Stankovska-Budimir, Course Director, concluded that the participants should now be aware how important it is to integrate the gender perspective into their everyday duties. The Course ended with the handout of the certificates to the participants.
