The Workshop was organized jointly by SEESAC and RACVIAC and with the expert support from ITF Enhancing Human Security. It gathered 36 participants from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia, involved in Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM) of conventional weapons and ammunition, as well as representatives of International organizations (RCC, ITF, OSCE, UNDP, AMAT) engaged in the area. The audience included military or civilian experts dealing with ammunition stockpiles management issues.
In support of building effective national ammunition surveillance capacities, the Workshop provided an overview of international standards, good practices examples and lessons learned relevant to South East Europe. A field visit to HI POLIEX AD in Berane was also organized to present the practice of ammunition sampling and their disposal capacities.
Thank you SEESAC for your cooperation and we look forward to another joint activity.
