RACVIAC representative LTC Nikola Suhić, Activity Manager, SSG Pillar, participated in the Roundtable “The Importance of Central Europe for the EU” held in Hotel Trakošćan, Trakošćan, HR on 2nd February 2023. The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) organized this Conference for the heads of country offices and regional programs from South East Europe and the countries of the Western Balkans from February 1st to 3rd, 2023 with the purpose of exchanging views with politicians (diplomats), security and migration experts on the Three Seas Initiative, the Belt and Road Initiative (16+1), the common position of the countries of the EU on Russia’s attack on Ukraine, and a possible common European security and defense policy.
LTC Suhić participated as a panellist in Panel four, Western Balkans: “The MES7 Perspective on Regional Security Issues”. He presented RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation and its role in fostering dialogue and cooperation in South East Europe.
The head of KAS Mr Holger Haibach appreciated the participation of the RACVIAC representative. He expressed his willingness to extend partnership with RACVIAC in the organization of activities of joint interest.
LTS Suhić’s presence in the roundtable enabled the RACVIAC representative to extend the network of RACVIAC potential partners. RACVIAC flag was also showcased among those of other regional and International organizations.
