On 17 October 2025 RACVIAC Programme Manager Biserka Petrovska participated in the conference “Role of Cyber Threat Intelligence”, hosted by Algebra Bernays University in collaboration with Infigo and the Croatian Employers’ Association.
The event aimed to exchange experiences, strengthen cooperation, and promote the development of education in the field of cyber security, a key factor in building a resilient digital society. The conference offered a diverse program, including technical case studies, CTI program maturity models, and discussions on balancing public security with privacy rights, particularly in the context of the proposed Chat Control 2.0.
The comprehensive programme included keynote speeches, technical case studies, and panel discussions. It opened with a welcome address by Zlatan Morić (Algebra Bernays University) and featured presentations on educational development through CADMUS and IQ DEFENCE DEP projects by Tomislav Dominković, as well as a keynote on the challenges of Cyber Threat Intelligence by Robert Kopal. Other highlights included sessions on threat information gathering in the national cyber space (NCSC-HR), real-life CTI case studies in the private sector (Bojan Alikavazović, Infigo), and CTI program maturity models (Branimir Barun, MORH).
Biserka Petrovska participated in the panel “Bridging Borders: The Role of Cyber Threat Intelligence Sharing”, moderated by Tamara Tafra (MVEP), together with Ihor Malchenyuk (State Service of Ukraine for Information Protection) and Bojan Alikavazović (Infigo). The panellists agreed that cyber threats know no borders and emphasized that information sharing and international cooperation are crucial for effective defense and rapid response to cyber attacks.
Other panels included “Leading with Insight: Women in Threat Intelligence”, “Measuring CTI Impact in Organizations”, and “Chat Control 2.0: Child Safety or Privacy Threat?”, and featured leading regional experts and industry representatives.
