On June 16, 2025, RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation took part in the Annual Meeting of the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), held at the Tirana International Hotel under the Chairmanship-in-Office of the Republic of Albania.

The meeting gathered representatives of governments, regional initiatives, and international partners to review the RCC’s work in the past year, endorse strategic priorities, and advance dialogue on sustainable development and security in South East Europe.

The programme featured remarks by the RCC Secretary General, Amer Kapetanovic. The RCC’s Secretary General’s Annual Report 2024–2025 and the Strategic and Work Programme for 2026–2028 were presented and endorsed, alongside updates on the implementation of the SEE2030 Strategy.

CPT Tea Radman, RACVIAC’s Public Affairs Officer, represented RACVIAC at the meeting. She delivered a statement on behalf of RACVIAC and its Director, H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie in which she reaffirmed RACVIAC’s longstanding commitment to regional security cooperation and praised the long-standing partnership with the RCC. CPT Radman emphasized the need for continued collective efforts in addressing challenges such as institutional fragility and evolving security threats, highlighting RACVIAC’s contribution to regional capacity-building and dialogue. She also marked RACVIAC’s 25th anniversary, expressing appreciation for the RCC’s warm congratulatory message on this milestone.

The RCC Annual Meeting concluded with reflections on the Common Regional Market Action Plan, the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans, and further steps for regional economic integration and resilience.
