  • RACVIAC Director held a Bilateral Meeting with RAI on the occasion of the Regional Workshop “Integrity and Control Measures in Defence and Law Enforcement Institutions”

Ambassador Constatin-Mihail Grigorie, RACVIAC Director, on the occasion of the Regional Workshop “Integrity and Control Measures in Defence and Law Enforcement Institutions”, conducted a courtesy meeting with the Regional Anticorruption Initiative (RAI) Chairperson, Mr Dražen Jelenić.

At the very outset Director of RACVIAC greeted Mr Jelenić and thanked RAI for its continued assistance. He gave recognition to the outstanding collaboration in the areas of enhancing openness and preventing corruption and building integrity.

Furthermore, Ambassador Grigorie congratulated Mr Jelenić for his recent appointment as RAI Chairman at the 42nd RAI Steering Group Meeting and expressed happiness about working together in various fields RACVIAC and RAI cooperate on.

Mr Dražen Jelenić thanked RACVIAC for welcoming RAI to this Workshop and praised the already ongoing cooperation stressing hope that it will yield even better results in the future. Emphasizing that being an expert in one field doesn’t exclude you from learning new things, he assured his host that cooperation with RACVIAC will continue and that RAI will secure the best experts in the region for joint activities. He emphasized that we have a lot of experience in the region but also a lot to do as we are moving forward to transparency.

In conclusion, RACVIAC Director once more expressed his deep appreciation for the support RAI provides and their excellent job during the years. He indicated that RACVIAC would like to continue with this fruitful cooperation in the framework of several activities which are planned to be organized in 2025.

Mr Jelenić thanked for hosting RAI also expressing hope about making new strides in joint work.
