On 18th January 2022 a RACVIAC delegation consisting of MG Slaven Zdilar, Deputy Director, LTC Marinko Romić, Activity Manager in CTST Pillar, Mr Predrag Omrčen, Activity Coordinator in CSE Pillar and LTC Arta Driza, Planning and Liaison Officer attended a working meeting at the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski” in Skopje, North Macedonia.
RACVIAC working group was hosted by the Dean of the Military Academy, COL Mitko Bogdanoski, PhD, who was leading the discussion throughout the meeting. The hosts prepared an info presentation about the Academy in which its history was emphasized, structure, the teaching method, and the specialist courses they conduct.
Based on the ideas of RACVIAC and its Partners, in line with the conclusions from the 46 MAG Meeting and in reference to the agreed calendar, a RACVIAC Working Group held a meeting with high level professors at the Military University to discuss the planned projects that are proposed to be developed and conducted in the years to come, and to revitalize the relationship and cooperation between RACVIAC and the Military Academy “General Mihailo Apostolski”.
RACVIAC delegation discussed the future project “Strengthening SEE Resilience in Cyber Security against Hybrid Threats” and each step in planning a project until its finalization. The project is currently in a beginning stage and still has to be elaborated in detail during follow-up meetings in order to prepare the final draft of projects and enter them into RACVIAC Programme.
Both sides agreed that further meetings on this topic are needed and that joint cooperation will continue.
