RACVIAC celebrates its 23rd Anniversary

On October 20, 2023, RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation marks its 23rd anniversary!

Over the past 23 years, RACVIAC has played a crucial role in promoting peace, stability and cooperation in the region. From organizing roundtables, conferences and workshops to hosting courses and exercises, RACVIAC has been at the forefront of fostering dialogue and understanding among the countries of South East Europe. We are proud to be a part of this community that is dedicated to building a safer and more secure world for all.

The anniversary of RACVIAC and our joint achievements during the past 23 years were a justifiable cause for celebration, and we took the opportunity to mark it appropriately. RACVIAC Director, Ambassador Constantin – Mihail Grigorie addressed the employees with appropriate words and emphasized that, regardless of the fact that most of the staff rotates, it is the people who make RACVIAC successful in achieving its mission of encouraging dialogue and cooperation in the region of South-Eastern Europe! Without RACVIAC employees’ commitment the achievement of RACVIAC mission couldn’t be possible, Ambassador Grigorie stressed.

We would also like to take this opportunity to express our true gratitude to all Members, Associate Members, Observers and partners for outstanding and significant support and desire for knowledge and cooperation over the last 23 years.

In addition, we would like to thank all our experts and participants who have significantly assisted us in the organization and execution of our Programme of activities, thereby enabling us to address more effectively diverse security challenges. Without you, our work wouldn’t make sense.

Happy anniversary, RACVIAC, and looking forward to many more!
