RACVIAC C-WMD Network, in cooperation with DTRA and EUCOM, organized the Albanian national TTX in Tirana from 9th to 10th November 2021. The purpose of this simulation TTX was to evaluate and validate the efficacy of the Albanian National CWMD strategy and its constituent components adopted in 2020.
This activity assumed that a variety of proliferation-related activities are taking place, the majority of which involve adversaries using Albania as a so-called „transit“ country. A range of fictitious scenario activities will also seek to reflect the scope and nature of the strategy’s threat and risk assessment.
The TTX afforded the Albanian authorities an opportunity to evaluate the potential impact of the action plan associated with the national strategy. This activity gathered more than 30 participants from 12 national agencies in Albania.
