RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation bid farewell to another dear colleague, Colonel Kayhan Turhan, who concluded his assignment at the Centre after three years of dedicated service, as part of the regular rotation of seconded personnel.
COL Turhan was seconded to RACVIAC in August 2023, bringing with him extensive professional experience gained throughout his distinguished career in the Turkish Armed Forces, including his deployment to Afghanistan.
During his tenure at RACVIAC, serving as Programme Manager within the Cooperative Security Environment (CSE) Pillar, COL Turhan contributed to the implementation of the Centre’s annual Programme, coordinating approximately 28 activities and actively supporting numerous engagements beyond the Programme framework. A farewell gathering was held to mark the conclusion of COL Turhan’s assignment at RACVIAC.
Colleagues expressed their appreciation for his dedication, constructive approach, and commitment to cooperationrecognising the valuable contribution he made to the Centre throughout his tenure.
On behalf of the entire RACVIAC team, RACVIAC Deputy Director RADM Stipanović conveyed his gratitude to COL Turhan for his dedication to the Centre’s mission, constructive engagement, and contribution to fostering cooperation throughout his assignment, and wished him continued luck in all of his future endeavors, both personal and professional.
