Director of RACVIAC H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie met the representatives of US EUCOM and Defence Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) on the occasion of the “C-WMD Network Conference – Impact of Hybrid Conflict on Regional WMD Proliferation” which will be conducted in RACVIAC on 26 – 28 September 2023.
He expressed his gratitude for continuous longstanding support that DTRA and EUCOM have been providing to RACVIAC C-WMD Network Programme since 2015, emphasizing the importance of further engagement of all stakeholders – RACVIAC, US agencies and national institutions of RACVIAC Members. He also pointed out the necessity of nurturing close regional collaboration in the development of national counter proliferation capabilities, which is an area to which RACVIAC and DTRA/EUCOM can jointly bring added value.
US representatives expressed their commitment to continue cooperating with RACVIAC and informed Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie about plans for the future development of RACVIAC Programme.
