It was a great pleasure to receive Mr Holger Haibach, Head of KAS Office Croatia and Slovenia and Ms Anita Šakić, Project Coordinator at KAS Office Croatia and Slovenia on the occasion of their introductory visit to the new Director of RACVIAC, H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie in RACVIAC on 29 June 2023.

Mr. Haibach and Ambassador Grigorie discussed exceptional past cooperation between KAS and RACVIAC which has resulted in 10 annual conferences on Security Challenges for Europe, RACVIAC flagship annual events. Their cooperation has extended also to last year, with the execution of a successful activity, “Resilience of Critical Infrastructure Conference”, held in Zagreb in December 2022.

Ambassador Grigorie expressed his gratitude for the long-standing partnership and contribution to RACVIAC Mission. He also stressed that KAS represents one of the most important partners for RACVIAC. Mr. Haibach took the opportunity to sincerely congratulate Ambassador Grigorie on his new position and expressed his satisfaction that RACVIAC will be led by a person with rich diplomatic experience and an exceptional career. The meeting was also attended by LTC Nikola Suhić, Activity Manager in SSG Pillar, who manages activities organized in partnership with KAS. Both sides stressed that they are very satisfied with the existing cooperation and expressed their readiness to extend it. Moreover, Mr Haibach confirmed his interest to broaden the KAS partnership to the “Building Integrity” workshop.

Both Ambassador Grigorie and Mr Haibach expressed their willingness to continue with successful cooperation and reiterated that they are looking forward to future joint activities.
