RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation was honored to host H.E. Mrs. Charlotte van Baak, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Croatia, on her inaugural visit to our premises in Rakitje on November 9, 2023.
During the visit Ambassador van Baak was warmly welcomed by RACVIAC Director, H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie, and introduced to the institution’s history, mission, vision and ongoing Programme of activities. The visit aimed to provide Ambassador van Baak with a comprehensive understanding of RACVIAC role in promoting regional security, stability, and Arms Control.
Both Ambassador van Baak and Director Grigorie engaged in a constructive and insightful dialogue, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the ties between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and RACVIAC. The Kingdom of the Netherlands’ previous involvement and support for RACVIAC activities were also acknowledged and greatly appreciated.
Ambassador van Baak’s visit marked an important step towards furthering the partnership between the Kingdom of the Netherlands and RACVIAC. The discussions held during the visit laid the groundwork for future collaboration in advancing regional security and Arms Control efforts.
