On 20 March 2025, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Milan Hovorka, paid an official visit to RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation.

Upon arrival, Ambassador Hovorka was welcomed by RACVIAC Director, H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie. Their meeting began with a private discussion, during which they exchanged perspectives on current security dynamics and areas for enhanced collaboration. Their conversation covered a broad range of topics, including arms control, conflict prevention, cyber security, and emerging technological challenges in defense and security sectors.

Following their tête-à-tête, Ambassador Hovorka participated in a working meeting with RACVIAC staff, where he was introduced to the Centre’s programme and activities. He received an overview of RACVIAC’s key initiatives and ongoing projects to enhance regional cooperation, capacity building, and policy dialogue among South East European countries and international partners.

Ambassador Grigorie expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Hovorka for his visit and for the Czech Republic’s continued support as an associate member of RACVIAC. He acknowledged the valuable contributions of the Czech Republic to the Centre’s mission and emphasized the enduring importance of this partnership in achieving shared goals for stability and peace.

Ambassador Hovorka expressed his appreciation for RACVIAC’s instrumental role in promoting security and stability in the region. He reiterated the Czech Republic’s dedication to supporting multilateral security initiatives and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the Czech Republic and RACVIAC.

This visit further underscored the strong and ongoing partnership between the Czech Republic and RACVIAC, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing peace and security in the region.
