On 29th September 2022 German Defence Attaché, LTC Guido Altendorf and RACVIAC Director, MG (ret.) Jeronim Bazo signed financial agreement between the Federal Republic of Germany and RACVIAC for activity “Conference on the Implementation of UN SC Resolution on 1373 Mechanism in the Weatern Balkans – Case Studies” which will be held at RACVIAC premises on 4th October 2022.
The main objectives of the Conference are to exchange national results on terrorism financing threats, to exchange views on national legal grounds on the implementation of the 1373 mechanism with special emphasis on addressing the third countries’ foreign asset-freezing requests, and to educate and train governmental agencies personnel in the practical application of the 1373 mechanism. It will be attended by more than 30 participants from governmental agencies, national police, state attorney/prosecutor’s office, security agencies, and other relevant agencies in the field of law enforcement.
