On April 28, 2023 we bid farewell to RACVIAC Director, MG (ret.) Jeronim Bazo. Deputy Director, MG Slaven Zdilar, thanked him for four-and-a-half years of dedicated service. He emphasized that RACVIAC staff was grateful for the outstanding leadership he had demonstrated during his mandate. “You are an exemplary leader, you have the ability to inspire, motivate and bring people together, which is also the mission and vision of RACVIAC, and as such you were a perfect fit for the Organization”, he added.
This was also the opportunity to congratulate Ambassador Grigorie on his new position as RACVIAC Director and RACVIAC staff introduced themselves to him individually and wished him luck during his mandate.
MG Zdilar highlighted in his speech that he hopes that he will continue with the implementation of RACVIAC mission and goals, which has been successfully carried forth during the leadership of Major General Bazo. “We are confident that under your leadership, Ambassador, RACVIAC will continue to play a key role in promoting regional security and stability”, he concluded.
General Bazo thanked RACVIAC staff for overall cooperation and support provided to him during his tour of duty. We are extremely grateful to him for his professionalism and good relationships he has nurtured. Working with him was very simple and there were no problems, just challenges. With his experience and ways of building good contact networks he contributed immensely to RACVIAC.
