CROATIAN DEFENSE DIPLOMACY COURSE ATENDEES VISIT RACVIAC

On May 16, 2025, the 18th generation of the Croatian Defence Diplomacy Course, accompanied by the Course leader, LTC Tihana Kunak Koršić, paid a visit to RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation.

H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie, Director of RACVIAC, warmly welcomed the attendees, highlighting the importance of fostering regional cooperation and mutual understanding through initiatives such as the Defence Diplomacy Course.

Following the Welcome address, the attendees were presented with a comprehensive overview of RACVIAC, including its history, mission, vision, organizational structure, and membership. They were also introduced to Programme 2025, while staff members provided further details on how the Centre’s Programme has been developed, emphasizing its continuous evolution over time to better address the needs and requests of its Members.

Additionally, it was highlighted that the Centre’s activities serve as a valuable platform for networking, dialogue, and the cultivation of mutual trust among the nations of South East Europe. During the ensuing discussion, participants raised insightful questions regarding RACVIAC Membership and the Centre’s strategic outlook for the future.

Before concluding the visit, LTC Tihana Kunak Koršić signed the RACVIAC Guestbook, commending the Centre’s work and expressing appreciation for the open and engaging discussion with RACVIAC staff and Course attendees. She praised the professionalism and transparency with which all questions about the Centre were addressed. On this occasion, she also presented a certificate of appreciation to H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie, Director of RACVIAC, in recognition of the Centre’s continuous support to the Croatian Defence Diplomacy Course and its valuable contribution to fostering regional cooperation and knowledge exchange.

Ambassador Grigorie thanked the group for their visit and expressed hope that the information shared and the open exchange with RACVIAC staff would prove useful in supporting the participants throughout the remainder of their Course.
