Ambassador of the Republic of India visits RACVIAC

Upon the invitation of Director of RACVIAC, H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie, H.E. Raj Kumar Srivastava, Ambassador of the Republic of India, visited RACVIAC – Centre for Security Cooperation on 22 February 2024. It was the first visit from an Indian Ambassador to RACVIAC to date.

During the visit to the RACVIAC headquarters in Rakitje Ambassador Srivastava became more familiar with the Organization’s operations and personnel. Ambassador Srivastava had a tête-à-tête meeting with Ambassador Grigorie, during which RACVIAC Director briefed him on the Centre for Security Cooperation’s history and its ongoing efforts to improve international security cooperation. Additionally, the 2024 Programme was presented with new opportunities to strengthen mutual trust and efforts in promoting regional stability. The opportunity was also taken to speak with the representatives of the RACVIAC Programme staff.

Ambassador Srivastava expressed gratitude for the kind invitation from the Director of RACVIAC and thanked RACVIAC for the well-presented information of the Organization’s overall work over the last 23 years.

Expressing the shared desire of reinforcing security and cooperation in South East Europe, Ambassador Srivastava and. Ambassador Grigorie both underlined their eagerness to put efforts into identifying initiatives to cooperate on.
