Ambassador of the Republic of India visits RACVIAC

On Friday, November 22, 2024, H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie received the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Republic of Croatia, H.E. Arun Goel, on his inaugural visit.

 

During the visit to the RACVIAC headquarters in Rakitje Ambassador Goel became more familiar with the Organization’s operations and personnel.

 

Ambassador Goel had a tête-à-tête meeting with Ambassador Grigorie, during which RACVIAC Director briefed him on the Centre for Security Cooperation’s history and its ongoing efforts to improve international security cooperation. Additionally, Programme 2024 and Programme 2025 were presented to him. The opportunity was also taken to speak to the representatives of the RACVIAC Programme staff.

 

Ambassador Goel thanked RACVIAC for its contributions and praised the Organization’s efforts to strengthen resilience and promote efficient security cooperation among South East European countries. He emphasized the role that RACVIAC plays in advancing regional peace and security and commended the Organization’s dedication to tackling security issues in the region.

 

Expressing the shared desire of reinforcing security and cooperation in South East Europe, Ambassador Goel and Ambassador Grigorie both underlined their eagerness to put efforts into identifying initiatives to cooperate on.
