H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie, Director of RACVIAC, received the inaugural visit from the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Croatia, H.E. Elma Kovačević-Bajtal.
Ambassador Kovačević-Bajtal was provided with a presentation by RACVIAC Director, H.E. Constantin-Mihail Grigorie on RACVIAC history, mission and its accomplishments, emphasizing and praising Bosnia and Hezegovina’s contribution to RACVIAC in the form of providing personnel for its staff, financial contributions for the Budget, experts for the Centre’s activities and hosting RACVIAC activities since its beginnings. Bosnia and Herzegovina has also been actively engaged in C-WMD Network since its establishment in 2015.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has the status of a full Member within RACVIAC and actively contributes to the work and implementation of RACVIAC activities. Bosnia and Herzegovina has had seconded members in the Centre since its very beginnings. Moreover, two RACVIAC Directors were from Bosnia and Herzegovina and it has chaired the MAG, the RACVIAC political decision making body, two times thus far.
Ambassador Kovačević-Bajtal thanked for the information provided during her inaugural visit to H.E. Ambassador Constantin-Mihail Grigorie in RACVIAC. Furthermore, the Ambassadors highlighted their interest to continue expanding the already very fruitful cooperation between RACVIAC and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
